But further research into the victim's lives showed the manner of each death appeared to be personalised to each victim. Suggesting that there might yet be a common element to the murders.
The first victims' post mortem concluded death by drowning. The coroner had discovered water in the victim's lungs, but strangely found no external decay usually associated with this manner of death.
