Pirates of Devil's Cove (UN-C-739)
But the townspeople had begun to notice the difference in the pirates too, the pirate crew had not indulged themselves in feast, drink or company and saw that Captain Jones was preoccupied in other matters.

Finding no respite from their curse on dry land, the pirates decided to return to the seas and endeavour to find the island once more. But this time they would be fully prepared. Taking exact bearings and stealing the best maps of the day, they prepared to set sail again.

But on their chosen day of departure they found the tide was against them, and so it was the next day, and the next, no matter what time of the day they tried to leave the inlet, the sea tides pushed them back to port.

Owing to 'unique' and unexplainable weather conditions the Bloody Molly and her crew were effectively trapped.
