3. Though almost certainly drowned by Admiral Parker, this was not to be the last report of this infamous crew.
For centuries there have been sporadic sightings and reports of the Pirate Crew on and around the seas off Devil's Cove.
The local RNLA rescue centre has received countless distress calls from boats claiming a pirate ship is shadowing them.
The sound of metal hooks being thrown across the sides of their ships is often described by modern day crew, as is the feeling of the ship being dragged sideways to another invisible craft.
Since around 1710 - (around the time of the first "ghost ship" sightings) - The locals of Devil's Cove, in Southern Cornwall have annually held a festival in remembrance of the day that the navy caught up with the notorious pirates.
