Long Claw (UN-B-0281)
Wellington had uncovered research carried out a century earlier by Librarian Harold Trott. Trott had mysteriously disappeared while on extended leave from the university. But had managed to avoid the clutches of the beast for such a period of time that his research was perhaps the most developed of all who had tried before.

With Trott's extensive research, Professor Wellington was confident he could succeed where so many before him had failed, but like all those who had proceeded him, he too was soon plagued by half sightings of the creature. Wellington was aware of the legend that surrounded this research and the deaths associated with it, but was determined to continue his study, certain that success was only days away.

But on 15th November 1868, after staying late at the University to work on research, Wellington was attacked by the Long Claw.
