The Harvester (UN-D-0329)
Hobbs revealed that in stark contrast to the bailiffs harvest, his own manor had just produced the best yield of crops for many a year. In fact their success had been so great, that they were now looking to take on more land for the following year.

Hobbs suggested that Osric might wish to think about renting out his farming operation to his neighbour, who would guarantee him a far more generous return than his current farmers could provide.

As daylight broke, the two men shook hands and Hobbs departed with the promise that he would mention the bailiff's situation to his lord.

A little over a month later, Bailiff Osric was informed that Hobbs had been enquiring after him. Rushing to where they last met, Osric was relieved to find Hobbs waiting for him.
