The Crooked Man (UN-C-1732)
Many more years passed, before the Daemon noticed that the boundary between his world and our own weaken. With time he found he was able to pass inanimate objects through the barrier between worlds. He schemed to provide amusement for himself, by casting down upon earth, an enchanted coin, infused with his own power to possess whoever carried the coin.

To the person who held the coin, money and the accumulation of wealth, would become the only thing that mattered in life, it would never abate and because of the nature of the curse, the owner would never part with the coin that controlled their destructive actions.

Reports suggest that the strain of the curse affected the victims physically as well as mentally. A grotesque and distorted shadow of the former man was sometimes seen hovering next to the victim, a physical manifestation of the greed within.
